The Kilimani LPDP, one of the detailed area plans being prepared to enforce implementation of the Nairobi Integrated Urban Development Master Plan (NIUPLAN 2014).

The NIUPLAN was formulated to provide a guiding framework to manage urban development in Nairobi City County from 2014 to 2030. It incorporates all existing master plans of various infrastructure including urban transport, sewerage, power, telecommunication and solid waste management.

The LPDP will involve reviewing existing policy of the area to ensure development of the area is guided by up to date development policy.
