She regularly advises clients on business establishment, contracts, competition law, consumer protection, joint ventures, private equity plus transaction-related regulatory and compliance issues.
Lorna also heads our formidable IP practice and where she works on some of the region’s largest and most complex IP matters. She also advises clients on IP-related commercial aspects of distribution, franchising and M&A deals.
Lorna is dual-qualified and registered as a trademark and patent agent in both Kenya and Rwanda. Her expertise covers ARIPO, OAPI and international registration systems. She is highly regarded for her first-rate contentious and non-contentious IP work. Plus, for being an IP thought leader, especially on anti-counterfeit law.
