The Intellectual Property Office of Burundi is currently undergoing some management changes which will culminate in the appointment of a new IP Director.

The changes in the IP Office will affect the IP Director as well as clerks in the said office who are also going to be replaced.

Although the activities of the IP Office are expected to continue, we anticipate that there shall be delays in issuance of filing confirmations as well as certificates for the next few weeks as the new management settles into office.
